DISHWASHER
• Follow the instructions that come with your dishwasher. • Remove and hand-dry the cutlery as soon as the wash cycle has finished • Load the cutlery in the special “top cutlery tray” or “cutlery basket”. • Avoid direct contact between blades and other utensils. • Load the knives separately from the other cutlery in the special “top cutlery tray” or in the upper knife holder shelf and always with the blade facing down (to avoid the possibility of accidental cuts). • Avoid to use a rinse-and-hold cycle and to leave cutlery in a damp atmosphere because they can get stained or damaged. • Do not use alkaline detergents that contain alcohol or perfume.

18/10 STAINLESS STEEL CUTLERY: dishwasher safe guaranteed.

18/10 STAINLESS STEEL CUTLERY WITH COLOR HANDLE (ABS, SAN, POM, ACRYLIC WITH POLISHED RING): guaranteed dishwasher safe at medium-low temperatures of 50-55°C (122-131°F).

PVD COATED CUTLERY: dishwasher safe guaranteed. The detergent's composition must contain less than 5% phosphates. The pH of detergents and rinse aids must be neutral (between 6 and 8). Do not use distilled water for washing. To remove any limescale residues from the dishwasher, we recommend rinsing with lukewarm water and wine vinegar. Two small marks on the edge (or spine) of the PVD cutlery are due to the production process and should not be considered a defect.

MAINTENANCE TIPS

Prolonged contact of the cutlery contact with salt, vinegar, egg, tomato sauce, acid fruits, detergents or some of the mineral salts in tap water can cause pitting and staining. • Avoid leaving cutlery to soak, and remove any residue immediately. •  Take special care with knives: the blades have a high carbon content, which creates a sharper cutting edge but is also more prone to corrosion.  In case of stains, clean them with a stainless-steel polish. • Never leave stainless-steel cutlery in damp conditions, as this may cause staining and requires polishing. • Thoroughly rinse and carefully dry after each wash. • Store in a dry place.
