Ingredients for 4 persons
  • 30 gr Extra Virgin Olive oil
  • 300 gr lukewarm Water
  • 4 nr Basil leaves
  • 4 gr fresh brewer's yeast
  • 20 gr Salt
  • 700 gr Tomato sauce
  • 600 gr "0" type flour
  • 600 gr Mozzarella cheese - "Fiordilatte" or "Bufala"
Preparation for 4 persons step

  • Prepare all the ingredients and start the recipe.

    Ingredients for the dough:
    "0" type flour; 600 gr (21 Oz)
    Water: 300 gr (10,5 Oz)
    Salt: 15 gr (0,5 Oz)
    Yeast: 4 gr (0,14 Oz)
    Extra Virgin Olive oil

    Ingredients for the sauce:
    Tomato sauce: 700 gr (24,5 Oz)
    Mozzarella cheese: 600 gr (21 Oz)
    Basil: 4 nr
    Salt
    Extra Virgin Olive oil: 20 gr (0,7 Oz)

    Melt the yeast into 150 gr of lukewarm water and mix properly. Then melt the salt (15 gr - 0,5 oz) into the other 150 gr of water and mix.

    Place the flour and the water with salt into Vento jar.
WARNING: ARE YOU SURE THE LID IS IN PLACE?
Well, now turn the knob and set the speed indicated in the following step.

Vento has to blend at speed 1 for 40 seconds.
Now press STOP to end the blending.

Add to the mixture into the jar the water with the yeast.

If needed, use the stirrer stick during the blending.
WARNING: ARE YOU SURE THE LID IS IN PLACE?
Well, now turn the knob and set the speed indicated in the following step.

Vento has to blend at speed 1 for 1 minute and 40 seconds.
During the blending pour into Vento jar the extra virgin olive oil.

Help yourself with the stirrer stick if needed.

Now press STOP to end the blending.

When the dough is well done, remove it from the jar and knead by hand. Then leave to rest for 30 seconds in a dry place.

Divide the dough into parts of almost 200 gr and make balls.

Remove the pizza from the oven, season with extra virgin olive oil and one leaf of basil.
