Thanks to the high content of proteins, sugars, vitamins and minerals, peas have a high nutritional value. They are rich in iron, phosphorus and potassium. They are also suitable for those suffering from exhaustion and for convalescents.
Fresh peas are a good source of vitamin C. The dried peas, deprived of water, are obviously richer in calories of fresh green peas.

To make this recipe, use VENTO Regular jar.

Ingredients for 4 persons
  • 90 gr Ice cubes
  • 300 gr fresh Peas
  • 150 gr Vegetable Stock Cube
Preparation for 4 persons step

  • 300 g (10.6 oz) fresh peas
    90 g (3.2 oz) ice cubes
    150 g (5.3 oz) vegetable stock

    Is preferable to use a vegetable stock from the fridge. If it is not possible, use a stock cube dissolved in cold water or prepare it in hot and allow to cool.

    Shell the peas, rinse and insert them into salted boiling water for 5 minutes.
    Then dry and cool them under cold running water.

    Place the 90 g (3.2 oz) of ice cubes into the Vento jar and add the 300 g (10.6 oz) of peas.

Blend for 40 seconds at speed 30 (9000 Rounds Per Minute).

Now press stop to end the blending.

Remove the measuring filler cup from the lid and pour the cold vegetable stock into the Vento jar.
WARNING: ARE YOU SURE THE LID IS IN PLACE?
Well, now turn the knob and set the speed indicated in the following step.

Blend for 20 seconds at speed 30 (9000 Rounds Per Minute).

Now press stop to end the blending.

Remove the filler cup from the lid and season with salt to taste.
WARNING: ARE YOU SURE THE LID IS IN PLACE?

Use the pulse function for 4 following times, pushing on the knob (speed 60 - 15000 Rounds Per Minute).
Each time keep pushed 4 seconds long.
